Young Heeler - Shot in Face in Vancouver, Washington For Sale

Cricket (Before/After) has bounced back & recovered so well from a gun shot wound to the face. She is healing in record time! Her eye looks like it will always stay moistened & there isn't a concern in our minds anymore about the long-term effect it could have had on her right eye. She will always be paralyzed on the right side of her face, but that is merely cosmetic. Her hearing is starting to come back slowly & we believe she will regain hearing between 50-100%! She definitely can hear & with time we see it getting better!
Cricket LOVES people, children, walks like a dream on a leash anywhere your heart desires, car rides are a favorite, kitties are fine as long as they are dog savvy (we don't want her right eye to ever be clawed & her not able to protect it) AND she loves dogs her size (40lbs) or smaller. She is great with Piglet, Reese, Miso, Ducky... but Mane & Roulette are a little too big for her. She is really unsure & insecure around larger fur friends. So, medium to small buddies only. She would also be a terrific solo pet because she is good at stealing all the love.
Cricket is doing great with house training, is kennel trained, spayed, microchipped & UTD on all vaccines. We will only adopt her out in OR, WA, CA, ID - realistic travel distance. Anyone interested in adopting Cricket can apply online at www.PandaPawsRescue.org!
